The Global Account Manager (m/f/d) for Bilfinger Industries plays a pivotal role in driving global business growth, strengthening strategic customer relationships, and developing techno‑commercial offerings across countries and business units. You will act as the primary contact for global accounts, shape Bilfinger's go‑to‑market strategy, and develop cross‑border business opportunities and partnerships. Internally, you will support product development, portfolio sharpening, and contribute to strategic planning across segments.

Your Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive value propositions for dedicated strategic global accounts
  • Development of an account plan with objectives, actions, and responsibilities aligned with Bilfinger's growth strategy
  • Analysis of the customer structure, decision-making processes, investment plans, competitive positioning
  • Building trusting relationships at multiple levels within the customer organization (Purchasing, Operations, Management)
  • Identify growth opportunities in collaboration with the business units
  • Establish and further develop professional processes in account and global account management at Bilfinger
  • Ensure a consistent image for customers
  • Contribute to product development and portfolio optimization by gathering feedback (e.g. regular reviews and customer satisfaction surveys) on customer needs as well as identifying improvement measures
  • Report on short‑ and mid‑term prospects, sales pipelines, and quarterly long‑term initiatives by using Salesforce as reporting tool
  • Ensure all actions align with Bilfinger's ethical standards and Business Code of Conduct


Your Profile:

  • University degree in engineering or business administration or equivalent
  • At least 10 years of experience in industrial services industry
  • 3-5 years of Key Account Management experience preferred
  • Proven experience developing and directing the implementation of key strategic initiatives and projects across multiple geographies and business units
  • Experience leading indirect teams in a matrix or functional organization
  • Strong commercial understanding and experience with complex negotiations
  • Ability to identify market needs and convert them into viable business opportunities
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills across all organizational levels
  • Excellent influencing, stakeholder management, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strategic thinker with strong commercial and business acumen
  • Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable managing ambiguity and organizational change
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage
  • International travel required
