This Position reports to:
Inside Sales Manager East and Central regions

As a Sales Support Specialist, you will provide daily support to our field sales representatives and managers, as well as to our external customers, by managing a high volume of emails. You will also collaborate with the Marketing and Customer Service teams, particularly when order-related issues arise.

This role contributes to the Electrification, Installation Products division of ABB Canada and is based in Saint-Hubert.

The work model is hybrid, with 2 days per week at the office.

Your Role: Own the Challenge
  • Suggest products and competitor equivalents to external sales, distributors, and contractors/users.
  • Provide Level 1 technical support.
  • Prepare quotations and assist with pricing according to established pricing guidelines.
  • Share customer and market information with the Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Work with Customer Service to resolve order issues.
  • Support and assist colleagues within the team.
  • Perform other required tasks as needed.

What it takes to run what runs the world
  • Degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written. English is required to communicate with clients outside of Quebec.
  • 2 years of experience in a similar environment.
  • Familiarity with low- and medium-voltage electrification products is an asset.
  • Experience in a B2B company is an asset.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong sales and customer orientation.
  • Ability to follow established procedures and methodologies while suggesting improvements.
