We are looking for a commercially focused Procurement Specialist to join our Systems and Textiles Sourcing team as an Account Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in sourcing complex engineering products and services across a global supplier base.

The Role

Working within the Systems and Textiles team, you will lead end-to-end procurement activities, managing supplier relationships and supporting the delivery of critical components and materials. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to deliver cost-effective, high-quality solutions across key manufacturing programmes.

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing end-to-end procurement and sourcing across engineering categories
• Leading RFQs, tenders, and supplier negotiations to achieve best value
• Developing supplier performance, managing risk, and driving continuous improvement
• Partnering with Engineering, Quality, Production, and Programme teams
• Supporting bid activity and customer delivery commitments
• Maintaining supplier, cost, and lead-time data within SAP
• Ensuring compliance with export control and regulatory requirements

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in procurement, buying, or strategic sourcing within engineering or manufacturing
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications (desirable)
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred)
• Knowledge of UK and international trade compliance (desirable)

Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field
• CIPS (or equivalent) qualification is advantageous
