Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of Installation Products within a Smart Building Smart Power division, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities.

This role is contributing to the Smart Building Smart Power Business in Jakarta, Indonesia.

You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Communicating to the customers about details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with ABB's offering and strategy.
  • Ensuring efficient marketing activities and communicates value proposition to customers.
  • Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market.
  • Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supports cash collection and project management activities, when needed.

Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in installation products, cable systems, or related electrical solutions.
  • Established relationships with contractors, consultants, and developers in the building and infrastructure sector, particularly those familiar with ABB products.
  • Proven ability to prepare and implement sales plans using authorized tools, with a track record of meeting volume, mix, and profitability targets.
  • Strong understanding of installation product specifications, cable management systems, and ability to prepare technically and financially sound offers.
  • Excellent ability to communicate delivery schedules, payment terms, and value propositions clearly to customers, ensuring positive customer experiences.
  • Demonstrated capability to identify and drive new market opportunities in Indonesia's construction and industrial segments, aligning with ABB's growth strategy.
