This role sits within ABB's Robotics business, a leading global robotics company. We're entering an exciting new chapter as we've announced the plan for SoftBank Group to acquire ABB Robotics. This Position reports to:
Digital Eco System Manager

1. Core Positioning

A high-performance sales leader focused on sales breakthroughs. Internally, coordinate cross-functional resources to empower front-end sales teams; externally, lead the customer-front efforts, deliver independent technical presentations and drive customer adoption and orders. Fully own the business expansion and revenue target achievement of digital software solutions, increase market share and improve overall project conversion rate rapidly.

2. Core Products

RobotStudio: Robot simulation & offline programming software OptiFact: Robot IoT platform, predictive maintenance, process optimization and AI knowledge base system

3. Target Industries

Top-tier and key customers in electronics/3C, automotive and other manufacturing industries, system integrators and channel partners

4. Business Model & Division of Responsibilities

Integrate digital solutions into pre-sales proposal and after-sales operation & maintenance systems, and promote digital products as standard configuration for customer projects.
  • Front-end sales team: Frontline customer engagement and sales leads generation
  • This role: Deliver digital product value proposition, customized proposal if necessary, implement solution deployment, drive key project negotiation, and take accountability for overall digital business performance
  • Collaborate with pre-sales and after-sales teams to accelerate contract closure and project delivery

5. Key Job Responsibilities

Achieve annual sales targets for RobotStudio and OptiFact; independently or lead the team to manage sales leads/pipeline follow-up, solution presentation, commercial negotiation and full project delivery & closing Collaborate with front-end sales teams, streamline internal processes and allocate resources to support end-user project implementation Conduct in-depth communication with end customers, tap digital transformation demands, and lead negotiations for strategic key projects Liaise with product development teams when necessary, respond to customized requirements and drive implementation to secure contract wins Maintain relationships with key customers, expand partner channels, and drive sustainable business growth

6. Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree or above, major in Automation, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or related disciplines Minimum 3+ years of sales experience in industrial software, robotics or IoT sectors; candidates with electronics/automotive/3C industry experience are preferred Capable of delivering independent technical solution presentations to clients, with proven end-to-end project management and contract closing capabilities Excellent internal coordination and resource integration skills; result-oriented, willing to travel and capable of tackling challenging key projects Basic English communication proficiency, verbal and written
