Short Description

As a Business Development Consultant, you play a key role in developing new client relationships and commercial opportunities within an international recruitment environment. You open doors, build long-term partnerships and directly contribute to the growth of iPS Powerful People.

Function Description

In this role, you are responsible for generating new business and expanding our client portfolio. You identify market opportunities, approach potential clients and guide new customers from the first contact through to successful onboarding.

You work closely with recruitment and operations teams and represent iPS at client meetings, events and networking opportunities, both locally and internationally. This role is ideal for recruiters or sales professionals ready to take the next step into business development and account management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's level of thinking and working
  • Experience as a recruiter, consultant, account manager or in sales/business development
  • Commercially driven and confident in approaching new clients
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills
  • Good command of the English language
  • Affinity with recruitment, HR or project-based organisations
  • Interest in sectors such as Maritime, Offshore or Energy is a plus
