Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities within Brazil and Colombia.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government entities, public institutions, and key private-sector stakeholders.
- Establish and leverage a strong personal and professional local network to create project opportunities.
- Lead high-level negotiations with partners, clients, and authorities.
- Develop and execute commercial and partnership strategies aligned with sustainability objectives.
- Drive sales processes from opportunity identification through contract closure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure agreements, business models, and partnerships.
- Represent the organization in strategic meetings, events, and industry forums.
- Monitor regional market trends, regulatory frameworks, and sustainability initiatives.
- Support the development of scalable, long-term projects across the region.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships.
- Proven experience working with government entities and public-sector stakeholders.
- Strong local network and contacts in Brazil and/or Colombia.
- Experience working independently or in entrepreneurial environments (business owner, consultant, independent advisor, etc.).
- Solid background in sales and commercial negotiations.
- Experience in sustainability-related projects (environmental, social, or impact-driven initiatives).
- High level of motivation, proactive attitude, resilience, and results-driven mindset.
- Fluency in Portuguese, Spanish, and English is highly preferred.
- Knowledge or experience in waste management is a strong plus.
- Willingness to travel within the region as needed.
