Main tasks & responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business and partnership opportunities across Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, and Panama.
- Establish and manage relationships with government agencies, public authorities, and private-sector partners.
- Leverage existing local networks to generate leads and build project pipelines.
- Lead commercial discussions, proposals, and contract negotiations.
- Drive end-to-end sales processes and ensure achievement of regional business goals.
- Develop tailored business models and partnership structures for the region.
- Represent the organization in meetings with stakeholders, partners, and decision-makers.
- Monitor regulatory, political, and market developments relevant to sustainability projects.
- Collaborate internally to ensure effective project handover and execution support.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships.
- Demonstrated experience working with government and public-sector stakeholders.
- Strong local network and relationships in Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, and/or Panama.
- Experience working independently, in consulting roles, or entrepreneurial settings is preferred.
- Proven sales experience, including negotiation and deal-closing.
- Background in sustainability or impact-related projects.
- Highly motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with a strong "can-do" attitude.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- Knowledge or experience in waste management is a plus.
- Availability to travel within the region when required.
