The Aftermarket Business Development Manager is a critical member of the Service Sales team. The vision statement for the Service Sales team is to, "Cultivate an engaged team that creatively partners with our colleagues and customers to benefit communities and the environment positively." Service Sales is a collaborative team working to ensure Vestas continues to adapt to the dynamic challenges of the wind industry and is committed to partnering with our customers to optimize their assets across decades. Responsibilities

• Generate, qualify and convert sales leads into new business opportunities

• Manage strategic account plans and the sales pipeline

• Collaborate with colleagues and customers to develop customer solutions and long-term business partnerships

• Develop creative sales solutions by analyzing various pricing and proposal scenarios

• Conduct market research and use market understanding to identify sales leads

• Support development of Go-to-Market strategies

• Cultivate and sustain customer relationships

• Continuously work to enhance business processes and practices

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience

• 5 years of experience in sales or business development

• Technical sales experience

• Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills

• Proficient in working with Excel, Power BI, MS Office, Salesforce

Competencies

• Strategic planning

• Ability to communicate effectively in a multi-cultural matrix organization

• Ability to work in both a team-based environment and with minimal supervision

• A high degree of professionalism and the ability to manage one's own work when handling complex topics and situations

• Fast at acquiring new skills and comfortable navigating a complex, evolving business model
