About the role
In this leadership role, you will develop and deliver the market development strategy for the B2B business, supporting sustainable growth in profitability and volume across customer segments including OEM workshops, fleets, mining and distribution networks.
You will guide a geographically distributed team and help shape the medium- to long-term direction of the business, aligning with bp's wider strategy.
You will also lead by example in fostering a strong safety culture, ensuring safety is embedded in all business and operational activities.

What you will deliver
- Contribute to the development and execution of the B2B strategy, aligned to growth, profitability and market positioning
- Develop integrated business plans, including resource allocation and spend prioritisation, for a complex operational landscape with significant strategic and financial impact
- Provide insight into marketing and business strategy reviews using knowledge of market trends, customer needs and competitive dynamics
- Enable sales delivery across channels through collaboration with direct and indirect teams, ensuring alignment with business priorities and customer expectations
- Build and grow team capability by supporting talent development, succession planning and inclusive leadership approaches
- Track performance through regular reviews of sales, financial and people metrics, ensuring progress against agreed objectives
- Collaborate with stakeholders across supply chain, technology, finance, marketing and OEM partners to support business growth and operational effectiveness
What you will need to be successful
Experience
- Experience in sales and marketing, including leadership of teams across locations
- Experience in managing B2B customer environments, including direct/indirect sales channels
- Experience working with a range of stakeholders across functions and with external partners
- Experience contributing to business transformation and growth initiatives is beneficial
