This is a role within the Castrol organisation, and the successful candidate will become part of the Castrol ring-fence. If you are part of the ring-fence, it is expected that your employment will move with Castrol to new ownership.

About the role:

Lead and enhance the overall O2C process leveraging competitiveness opportunities within systems innovation and Touchless ambitions.

Primary communicator and link between stakeholders and Competitiveness deployment teams.

Lead and coordinate improvement opportunities identification within processes and systems in support of business Competitiveness.

Define the longer-term improvement opportunities and work with external leaders with vision to define best in class ways of working.

As O2C Process Owner, manage the change impact of "other" projects so that they are aligned with strategic direction - e.g. Nextgen portal.

Shift Timing: 12:30 pm - 9:30 pm (Oct-Mar) / 11:30 am - 8:30 pm (Apr-Sep)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable to define and drive the O2C Competitiveness plan.
  • Create, lead and energise a virtual team (Scrum team) to deliver a dynamic plan liaising with IT&S and GSC partnering functions to build complete and full range of expertise supporting.
  • Manage the triangle of scope, budget, and time, weighing priorities according to the needs and objectives of Competitiveness agenda also managing resources to ensure on time delivery.
  • Provides assurance and tracking of delivery vs FMs and Competitiveness plans.
  • Manage the system change requirements in line with defined BP cycles to ensure overall achievements are achieved, exploiting agile release schedules where applicable.
  • Support team members to the benefit of the overall project.
  • Work through change agents to embed the new ways of working and attitude in GSC / supporting functions.
  • Embed HSSE and Wellbeing in all competitiveness activities.
  • Ensure robust project design and deployment applied using Agile methodology.
  • Has a strong customer centric attitude.
  • Network strategy and major decisions to ensure buy-in from stakeholders and clarity of purpose / deliverables for the Scrum team.
  • Lead / facilitate O2C workstreams within key projects e.g Fortis, Nextgen Portal ensuring alignment to Competitiveness strategy.

Education:

Graduate or equivalent with substantial experience in the lubricants, CPG or chemical industry, with the functional and leadership skills and capability needed to manage business transformation.

Languages: English - Fluent

Experience

  • The role holder will need 12 to 15 years of experience and background in O2C with experience of driving sustainable business change cross functionally. This is a role which requires the holder to manage priorities and deadlines, lead virtual teams and influence others during substantial change.
  • Sound business judgment in handling potentially sensitive issues. Strong analytical, transformation and integration skills with a strong project management background. Strong impact, interpersonal and communication skills with proven capability and/or potential to make a significant contribution to the wider GSC agenda.
  • Ability to coach, challenge, and influence effectively collaborating with staff from all disciplines and senior stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple/conflicting priorities with a strong track record of delivery
  • Ability to proact and react in an ever changing and ambitious environment driving continuous innovation, customer centricity and attitude change within GSC and key O2C partners
