Role overview
Responsible for generating business through Protean. Generating revenue growth from existing HVAC client base that sits outside the Top 50 account strategy. Self-generating sales opportunities for both purchase and service contract revenue. Understanding their requirements and taking care of their HVAC needs through the sale of equipment / services (service contracts and PO')
Key tasks
Service Delivery • Demonstrate an understanding of what service delivery excellence is for your role, ensuring you deliver the basics right every time. Working with a team where service is central to good performance.
Commercial • To determine the pricing structure for the client, in line with JLA pricing strategy, obtaining senior level approval as required
Role Profile
Managing Risk • Awareness of your operational and regulation risks which may impact on your operations. • Responsibility for reporting to your line manager any risk which may impact the business Managing Health & Safety • Conduct any Risk Assessments and Method Statements, compiling reports in line with H&S requirements • Liaising with the Head of Compliance to ensure any compliance as part of your role is in line with the framework set.
Criteria Essential
• Excellent presentation and negotiating skills and experience in a 'solution' sales role, as day to day you'll be selling a high value proposition to our clients. • Experience in more complex sales and a technical sell.
Experience (what you have done) • Extensive sales experience, ideally within a similar sector • Experienced in generating new business as well as managing accounts. • A high achiever, with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Personal qualities • You will have the sales 'killer instinct', but also have experience in a longer sales cycle. • You will be a strong communicator capable of handling a wide range of client types with ease. • You will have the ability to manage yourself without supervision and provide clear strategy plans to the management team.
