This role sits within ABB's Robotics business, a leading global robotics company. We're entering an exciting new chapter as we've announced the plan for SoftBank Group to acquire ABB Robotics. This Position reports to:
R&D Team Lead

Your Role and Responsibilities :

Work model: onsite

1.Gearbox specification, validation and analysis in Gearbox program for robotics, through cooperation with colleague and supplier.
2.Technical analysis and issue solving on Gearbox related issue in new robot development project.
3.Technical support to solve the Gearbox issues on robot in production and maintenance.
4.Write and maintain project technical documentation, and ensure traceability of work.

Qualifications for the Role:
1.Bachelor or master degree in Mechanical and other gearbox related majors graduated.
2.3+ years experience in mechanical components testing and verification.
3.Familiar with the structure performance and application scenarios of all kinds of gearboxes (SWG,RV gear etc.).
4.Experience/knowledge on gearbox and bearing design or testing is preferred.
5.Strong analytical and problem solving skills with team-working spirit.
6.Good in oral and written English communication skill.
7.Familiar with Solidworks or other 3D software is preferred.
