This Position reports to:
R&D Department Lead México

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of Research and Development (R&D) employees and support them in achieving the agreed R&D targets. Each day, you will coach and develop the team. You will also showcase your expertise by helping in managing technologies, platforms, and Intellectual Property.

This role is contributing to the R&D Medium Voltage Products in San Luis Potosi.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Acting as technical lead for 11 engineers at 2 sites (SLP and MTY)
• Conducting local PDAs, hiring, for SLP and MTY team
• Acting as technical lead of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) moving to global PLM
• Responsible of enhancements of product according to Cost reduction, Sustainable materials and Better ways to produce
• Planning and ensuring an appropriate project portfolio for the team.

Qualifications for the role

• 9+ years of experience done on Research & Development, Technology, Product,
• Design, Application Engineering areas.
• Experience on new products development, re-design, improvement of existing and/or customized products and manage PLM Systems
• 2 years of Team leadership experience.
• Knowledge of power electrical equipment MCC and/or switchgear or combination & knowledge and understanding of UL, ANSI, and IEEE standards and Strong electrical and electronic knowledge.
• Advance English level
