This role sits within ABB's Robotics business, a leading global robotics company. We're entering an exciting new chapter as we've announced the plan for SoftBank Group to acquire ABB Robotics. This Position reports to:
R&D Department Lead

In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB's operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.
You will contribute to design and development of AI application software product or concept . These software are used for controlling, programming, coordinating robots in specific application contexts.

Responsibilities

• Write well structured, testable, efficient and maintainable code
• Propose efficient and reliable software solution
• Analyze and enhance efficiency, stability and scalability of modular software
• Develop software tests and continuous integration

Requirements

• the fourth-year of student or above, in Software Engineering, Computer Science and Technology, or equivalent degree with necessary expertise in the mentioned areas
• Python, C#/C++ coding skills
• Good skill level in design patterns
• Strong build, debug and test skills
• Ability of professional communication in English
• Ability of problem solving, time management and teamwork skills
