Key responsibilities

We are looking for a dedicated and highly qualified individual to develop innovative solutions in the field of medium-voltage switchgear. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects and shape technologies for the energy systems of tomorrow.

The work model for the role is: hybrid (#LI-Hybrid)

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Work as an independent and reliable contributor in R&D projects with limited supervision.
• Apply solid technical expertise in your area of competence and follow best practices.
• Perform a variety of tasks in the assigned domain (e.g., electrical design, insulation design, thermal analysis), including:
  
  • Concept development
  • Requirements analysis
  • Design and implementation
  • Integration, testing, and validation
  • Technology transfer
• Identify problems and develop solutions independently.
• Stay up to date with the state of the art in your field as well as emerging technologies.
• Apply and expand this knowledge to improve existing and new products.

Qualifications for the role:

• Master's or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related field with a focus on medium/high voltage.
• Knowledge of insulating gases, dielectric strength, and high-voltage testing is an advantage.
• Professional experience in medium-voltage switchgear is desirable but not mandatory - motivated graduates are welcome.
• Strong analytical skills and a keen interest in innovative technologies.
