Your role and responsibilities:

Seeking a highly capable and self-driven C++ Engineer to join our product development team. This role is based in Bangalore (India) and requires an individual comfortable working as the sole team member at the location while collaborating closely with international teams across the US, Canada, China, Germany, and additional global sites.

The ideal candidate is independent, proactive, and highly organized, with strong communication skills and an interest in a long-term, stable role working with evolving technology.

This role is contributing to the Process Automation Business of Measurement and Analytics Division for Bangalore Location.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for India-based teams and work seamlessly with a globally distributed team, coordinating with stakeholders across multiple time zones.
• Contribute to a wide range of integration and embedded development tasks, including:
  • New protocol integration
  • Legacy protocol adaptation
  • Cross-team ad-hoc testing, debugging, and prototyping
  • Unit and integration testing
  • Embedded protocol feature development
  • General feature implementation
• Travel internationally for team integration, workshops, or project alignment etc

Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)

• Bachelor's / Master's degree in computer applications with 8 - 12 years of professional experience in design and development.
• Proficiency in C++ including both modern and legacy paradigms
• Familiarity with Linux Yocto (Nix OS experience is a plus)
• Familiarity with OPC-UA, Modbus communication protocols
• Familiarity with development and quality tools such as Jenkins, DevOps toolchains, SonarQube, Google Test (or equivalent frameworks)
• Familiarity of basic agile development
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Highly independent, self-motivated, and able to prioritize tasks autonomously.
