Electrical & Instrumentation Lead
Location: Muscat, Oman (with regular travel to Sohar)
Start-Up Target: 2028
Sector: LNG / Energy Transition

We are hiring an Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Lead to join the core team of a landmark LNG bunkering infrastructure project in Oman. This role is essential to ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all Electrical, Instrumentation, ICSS, and Metering systems from project phase through to steady-state operations.

Key Responsibilities During Project Phase:

• Lead development of E&I maintenance strategies, criticality assessments, and technical scopes.
• Support commissioning, start-up, and readiness activities.
• Oversee vendor scopes, digital tools, spares, and EDMS data validation.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, local standards, and technical specifications.

During Operations:

• Manage E&I maintenance execution, performance, and continuous improvement.
• Provide expert support during shutdowns, troubleshooting, and metering activities.
• Lead team development, competency assurance, and local capability building.
• Serve as E&I Technical Authority and Electrical Safety Authority.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Electrical, Instrumentation or Control Engineering.
• 15 years in oil & gas/LNG, with field, supervisory, and MIE experience.
• Strong background in ICSS, PLCs, metering, and safety systems.
• Fluent in English; effective leadership, planning, and communication skills.
