The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.

Key roles and responsibilities
- Providing comprehensive project management support and senior administrative assistance.
- Preparation of programme and project documentation, including project plans, project initiation documents, quality impact assessments, progress tracking and update reports.
- Organising meetings, events, training, and workshops related to the sustainability programme.
- Producing reports and monitoring progress against key milestones.
- Working to build and sustain effective partnerships and relationships with a range of internal and external groups and organisations.
- Coordinating and maintaining core documentation, information, and reporting for the sustainability programme.
- Engaging with programme workstream leads to collate papers for sustainability board meetings.

Essential criteria
- Experience in project managing sustainability projects within the NHS
- Ability to develop and maintain communication with people on complex matters, issues and ideas and/or in complex situations
- Demonstrate effective project leadership
- Self-motivating and self-disciplined with planning and organising a work programme with conflicting demands and priorities
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
Desirable criteria
- PRINCE 2 or similar project management/quality improvement accreditation
- Post graduate qualification or evidence of post graduate education
- Experience of managing complex, large scale projects within NHS/Social Care/Public sector bodies involving multiple stakeholders and working across organisational boundaries
- Ability to effectively manage a diverse project team working in a co-operative approach to achieve shared goals
