ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS FOREMAN / LEAD
As an Electrical Installations Foreman/Lead here at Honeywell, (internally titled Field Service Engineer II) you will be responsible for the successful installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of conveyor systems with a strong emphasis on electrical installations and controls. You will utilize your expertise in electrical systems, including PLC troubleshooting, industrial power distribution, and supervising industrial control system installations, as well as the ability to oversee subcontractors and ensure projects are completed on time, within scope & statement of work, and budget.
You will report to the Sr. Field Service Supervisor, and you will work remotely from anywhere in the lower 48 states of the US. You will travel 100% domestically and internationally.

The salary range for this position is ($68000 - $85000). Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Execution:
- Lead the electrical installation and commissioning of conveyor and sortation systems, ensuring adherence to technical scope and timelines.
- Oversee subcontractor activities, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, electrical standards, quality requirements, and project schedules.
- Act as a subject matter expert in electrical installations, providing technical guidance and support to subcontractors and internal teams.
- Prepare and maintain detailed technical reports and project documentation.
Budget Management:
- Ensure all prerequisites (design inputs, tools, documentation, deliverables, schedule, and budget) are in place before starting work.
- Identify efficiencies to reduce costs and maximize customer value, particularly in electrical project execution.
- Collect and act on customer feedback during the project lifecycle, supporting acceptance testing and resolving issues.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to explore additional revenue opportunities.
Scheduling:
- Ensure compliance with project phase gate reviews and timely delivery of all milestones.
- Track and document scope changes, coordinating with other site discipline leads to ensure alignment.
Quality Control:
- Monitor and control project execution from a technical perspective, with a focus on electrical installations, identifying and addressing scope changes.
- Conduct root cause analysis for project issues and share lessons learned.
- Collect and analyze subcontractor performance metrics, driving improvements to minimize recurring errors in electrical installations.
Safety Compliance:
- Enforce compliance with quality and safety procedures, ensuring all teams follow agreed methods and standards, particularly regarding electrical safety protocols.
- Foster strong working relationships with management, subcontractors, and stakeholders to maintain a safe and productive work environment.

YOU MUST HAVE
- Minimum 5 years of technical experience in industrial automation or related fields, with a strong focus on electrical installations.
- Expertise in electrical systems, including industrial electrician experience, PLC troubleshooting, and power distribution.
- Strong ability to read and interpret schematics for control systems and electrical layouts.
- Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Experience overseeing industrial controls systems installations and subcontractors.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 100% domestically and internationally.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
