Wood is currently Hirning for Maintenance Advisor to join our team in Basra

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver and drive national technician coaching, assessment & development. Practical exposure to production facilities.
• Ability to Identify and assess safety hazards.
• Possess Leadership Skills, manages Multi-discipline and Multi-cultural work force.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Ability to identify proper priorities of maintenance activities in a high activity environment.
• Driven to deliver continuous improvement.
• Strong bias for being proactive and getting results.
• Supporting the asset maintenance technicians and various contractor resources in meeting the asset work schedule.
• Strong understating of Maintenance Planning,
• Work Management, KPIs, etc. Responsible for ensuring personal competency development tasks are completed.
• Advice on job plans and work packs.
• Responsible for maintaining and developing job plan libraries and ensuring Job Plans are complete, accurate and easily accessible to all.
• Understand Piping design, valve selection and specification, repair methods, fitness for service assessment, pressure vessels and tanks.
• Familiarity with Russian GOST specifications advantageous. RCM, RCFA, FMECA Workpacks.
• Deliverables are achieved through influence, and this is heavily reliant upon the relationship the OA develops with national staff at the field locations.
  Leadership skills and technical expertise in multiple maintenance disciplines.
• Extensive knowledge of work permitting and risk assessment processes for maintenance preparation / execution activities.
  Extensive knowledge of the work management process and a proven track record of driving continuous improvement in maintenance work execution using the work management process.
• Manage the safe, effective and efficient execution of the assigned asset planned maintenance schedule and high priority corrective / breakdown work through the management of the asset maintenance technicians and various contractor resources.
• Ensure maintenance technicians understand and strictly adhere to the Work Management processes, standards and the Controlling the Work process.
• Participates in the asset maintenance work validation and prioritization meeting.
• Ensure the asset holds sufficient resources and materials to complete the 2-week maintenance schedule.
• Ensure maintenance regulatory compliance work is completed as planned.
• Planning and safe execution of high priority corrective / breakdown type work.
• Ensuring all maintenance work close-out is completed in accordance with the work management data standards.
• Ensuring the effectiveness and resource efficiency of maintenance work completed and resolving and/or escalating systemic issues that prevent the completion of the agreed maintenance work schedule.
• Monitors the competency of the asset maintenance technicians and that the maintenance technicians meet the minimum competency standards for any work they undertake. Delivering safe, quality and reliable maintenance in alignment with Clients values.
