JOB DESCRIPTION

Wood Is Currently hiring for Electrical Maintenance Advisor to join our team in Basra,

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver and drive national technician coaching, assessment & development in Electrical Safety.
• Assist and guide electrical supervisors/technicians in the maintenance (Preventive & Corrective) activities of all HV & LV switchgear, transformers, motors, generators, UPS systems and power distribution systems.
• Assist in developing electrical maintenance scope of work and review of maintenance routines and make recommendations on improving.
• Supervising/coaching switching operation activities on HV & LV network apparatus.
• Development/review of switching procedures to release HV & LV network apparatus Deliver and drive national technician coaching, assessment & development in Electrical Safety.

• Competent in creation, development and approval of prime documents including SLDs, HAC Drawings, Protection and Control Schematics, Calculations, Engineering Reports
• Proficient in application of Power System and Protection Coordination Software e.g. ETAP, DAPPER, CAPTOR, with view to production of study reports.
• Compliance verification proficiency of 3rd party deliverables Demonstrate experience of undertaking surveys, test witnessing and provision of engineering support to Construction, Commissioning, Production and Maintenance Teams
