PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain knowledge of component ID color code, basic soldering, utilized assembly drawings, wire lists bill of materials and specific written instruction in performing duties.

• Build electronic assemblies using perforated printed circuit boards and discrete components.

• Assemble control modules using steel chassis, existing electronic assemblies, and point-to-point wiring.

• Participate and lead continuous improvement efforts.

• Perform other related tasks as requested by supervisor.

• Perform other work related tasks as assigned.

• Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.

FACILITY/GROUP SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Able to lift 45 pounds.

• Ability to learn on the job and apply.

• Ability to work with heavy equipment.

• Assists with the cleanliness of the work area.

• Performs other work-related tasks as assigned by the Assembly/Manufacturing Supervisor.

• Assembles and installs either electrical, electronic, mechanical or hydraulic / pneumatic components.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 3-years assemble/mechanical/electronic experience.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Limited travel (5%) travel required.

• Exposed to loud noise while in the warehouse.

• Exposed to moving parts while on the shop floor.

• Exposed to occasional hot and/or cold weather depending on outside climate conditions and warehouse temperature.

BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES

• Communicates well with other employees.

• Wears proper PPE while on the shop floor.

• Works well alone and in team environments.

• Adheres to facilities safety policies and attends all monthly safety training.

• Attends all Human Resource directed training via classroom, HUB Learning, and/or iComply CBT

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

• May operate both JIB and Overhead cranes.

• May operate Class II & IV Forklifts (Order Picker & Hyster 50 - 170).

• May work at hights - wears Fall Protection Harness when performing work at above 4-feet.
