Wood is currently sourcing suitably qualified Preservation Technician to join our team in LNGP, Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea on a rotational schedule (28 days on/off 12 hrs). Reporting to the Maintenance Preservation Lead, the successful candidates will ensure the preservation activities are conducted safely, following the client procedures and processes.

Reporting to the Maintenance Preservation Lead, the successful candidates will ensure the preservation activities are conducted safely, following the client procedures and processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete preservation activities as requested by the preservation lead.
- Engage in safe work practices to ensure safety initiatives are adhered to
- Participate in the collaborative tools to achieve an accident-free workplace (JSA, LMRA, OTA, O&I, Procedures & Processes)
QUALIFICATIONS
- Certified to PNG or Australian Standards Trade Certificate in Heavy Equipment and Diesel Fitting trade. Other trades may be accepted.
- 5 years' trade experience
- Proficient in MS excel
- Experience with SAP and or IPES. would be an advantage
- Class 6 & 7 License approved by PNG RTA
