Experience

- Organize the activities and work of subordinates to ensure compliance to relevant health, safety (occupational & process) and environmental excellence procedures and controls within area of responsibility to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, and a responsible environmental attitude.
Main Role:
- Perform all day-to-day coordination and interface tasks with incumbent FM Contractor related to offshore issues arising from performance of the FM contract services.
- Reinforce the various client strategies and objectives with the employing contracting service company and offshore workforce.
- Take instruction and direction from the COMPANY FM Lead to deliver FM strategic objectives based on COMPANY FM drivers within budget and with minimal disruption to the planned activities.
- Form part of the FM Team within the Campaign/Shutdown FOPS department and be accountable for safely, effectively, and efficiently delivering on KPI targets and agreed milestones.
- Ensure all Incumbent FM scopes are manned as per the IOP available POB slots with competent tradesmen.
- Ensure Incumbent FM personnel certification(s) are valid and in date, which will not lapse during any offshore trip.
- Ensure Incumbent FM Contractor submits CTR's are per the yearly planned activities and SAP Management System ID codes.
- Ensure all planned activities have realistic CT R's and raise an aligning PO within SAP Management System
Strategic Planning & Direction
- Monitor annual base FM execution plan in line with set KPls and agreed milestones and report on progress to contractor onshore support to help prepare, weekly monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports.
- Attend SW asset planning (IOP) meetings to coordinate necessary planning inputs/outputs to the contractor onshore support and logistics to ensure all planning gate criteria is met and activities are compliant.
- Promote effective communication of planning dates and plan changes to ensure where possible costs associated with mobilization/de-mobilization of manpower and equipment are kept to a minimum and within agreed CTR values.
- Review the contractor prepared quality control reports to ensure all coatings hold points are being followed and that the reports are in line with company, contractor procedures and industry standards.
- Closely monitor the quality observation register and report on any evident trends that need to be fed back to the FM.

- Liaise with offshore OFMS, Inspection, Maintenance, Construction and Production to support effective scheduling &
- planning of Painting activities ensuring that Fabric Maintenance (FM) Quality control and proficiency is maximized.
- Identify opportunities and initiatives that enables maximum production output within the parameters of environmental compliance and process safety.
- As required, provide onshore FM Lead and Campaign & Shutdown Leads with regular reports on performance and results, and to be held accountable for his area of responsibility.
Operational:
- Ensure availability through onshore planning any/all required blasting, painting equipment and consumables for ongoing and future projects ensure ordering of such items promoted logistics efficiencies.
- Review the daily record of progress (daily reports) noting special comments and logging man-hours for relevant work.
- Identify any areas for improvement and feedback to COMPANY FM Lead and contractor onshore support to follow up and rectify.
- Participate in the onshore development of FM Campaign worklists in readiness for campaign walk-down activity.
- Attend daily/ weekly/ monthly contract, technical, planning and safety meetings as and when required.
- Attend offshore site visits to ensure client strategies and objectives are being followed at the workface and work is being carried out in line with own company procedures and agreed methods.
People Management
- Provide leadership and guidance to direct reports in the execution of their responsibilities; encourage innovative thinking around process safety and production optimization Ensure all direct reports have the right training and competences to carry out their duties in line with Training Matrix; help create a leaning environment.
- Undertake regular on-the-job training to ensure transfer of knowledge.

- Undertake daily communication and coordination with offshore functions pertaining to key business matters within area of work.

QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Knowledge/ Technical Skills
- Fluent in written and spoken English with the ability to communicate clearly and precisely.
- Advanced report writing skills, ability to prepare detailed condensed FM specific reports.
- Ability to evaluate and present survey information into m2 and required materials as per the specified coating system(s)
- Technical and Practical knowledge of surface preparation and coating application processes
- All aspects of Quality Control and Quality Assurance via Stage Inspections of progressive surface preparation and coating application(s)
- Thorough understanding of personal and personnel safety within an offshore environment including Permit to Work Systems
- Thorough understanding of all aspects of operating surface preparation and coating application specialist equipment
- Appreciation and awareness of process safety within an offshore environment
- Acceptable fitness levels with the ability to work at height.
- High level of understanding and ability to read technical drawings -- Plot Plans, P&ID's, Isometrics, Structural (Not an exhaustive list).
Education / Certifications
- Engineering National Certificate or Diploma -- Relevant industry experience within a Coatings Quality / Surveying arena shall be considered.
- Coating, Insulation, PFP inspection certification e.g. Minimum NACE 2 or equivalent with previous experience within similar
- TBOSIET
- H2S
- Fitness for Work (offshore) Certificate.
Experience
- Coatings Inspector Surveyor/ coordinator +5 years O&G experience
- Previous experience working onshore within an Oil and Gas Operators framework within FM function.
- Previous experience of large scale, multi-location fabric maintenance works with large volume of offshore personnel.
- Prior knowledge of risk-based FM planning and execution.
- Previous experience of SAP Management Systems.
