Overall Summary
Principal Electrical Designer with proven experience in the design of substations, transmission and distribution systems in the Oil & Gas, hydrocarbon and/or infrastructure industries. Minimum 15 years' experience in FEED and detailed engineering of medium to large scale projects is required.

Minimum Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent Certification, with a minimum of 15 years' design experience in Oil & Gas, hydrocarbon and/or infrastructure industries.

Principal Electrical Designer with proven experience in the design of substations, transmission and distribution systems in the Oil & Gas, hydrocarbon and/or infrastructure industries. Minimum 15 years' experience in FEED and detailed engineering of medium to large scale projects is required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plant and facility layout support and coordination
- Plant and facility layout and distribution
- Develop Area Classifications drawings
- Develop equipment layout
- Develop Physical design drawings (grounding/earthing, lighting protection, lighting voltage drop calculations, AG Power & Control, UG Cable/conduit, cable tray designs, etc)
- Develop LV/MV schematics
Qualifications & Years of Experience:
Minimum Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent Certification, with a minimum of 15 years' design experience in Oil & Gas, hydrocarbon and/or infrastructure industries.
Key Skills & Technical Competencies:
- Must be a reliable designer who can work independently and able to lead/guide a team of 5 -10 electrical designers
- Must be proficient in developing design drawings using Microstation
- Knowledge of Saudi Aramco CADD standards is an advantage
- Must have excellent knowledge & understanding of Design practices, Construction Practices and Procedures
- Must be proficient in English; oral and written communication.
