The Client is a world-renowned inspection company active across several sites in the UK, including energy.
About the Role
The role concerns the supporting of a UK defence site.
As a minimum, you will:
- Oversee and inspect mechanical/electrical installations to ensure they align with project specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards
- Conduct regular site inspections, verify materials and workmanship, identify and address defects, and coordinate with other trades to ensure seamless integration of mechanical/electrical systems
- Provide technical guidance, maintain accurate records, and support the successful commissioning of mechanical/electrical systems
- Ensure quality and compliance at every stage
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Be a highly skilled and detail-oriented mechanical and/or electrical professional with a strong background in large-scale construction projects
- Hold a diploma or degree in Mechanical/Electrical engineering (or a related field)
- Possess a minimum of five years of experience in a similar role
- Have a deep understanding of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection, or equivalent electrical systems
- Excel at reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and industry standards
- Work independently
Due to the nature of the role, applicants must be able to obtain security clearance to work on-site. This means that any applicants must be British-born, hold a valid British passport, and be free of any criminal convictions that may prevent them from acquiring such clearance.
