- Supervise the corrective and preventive maintenance, installation, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of field Electrical Equipment in accordance with established schedules and procedures to ensure reliability and availability of Company Assets (North, South, RLTO & Refining, Barzan and NFE).
Reporting and Relationships
- Reports to Workshop Superintendent.
- Direct reports: None.
Internal
- Frequent contact with Asset Maintenance, Workshop and Support Services, Engineering, Supply, Asset Operations Onshore.
- Periodic contact with HSE&Q department.
External
- Periodic contact with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and third-party contractors.

- Responsible to seamlessly perform maintenance work according to the work packs in a safe manner and with high quality. Ensures utilization of resources are maximized. Supports in maintenance department initiatives.
Job Context & Major Challenge(s)
Major challenges of the role are:
- Working closely with the asset team to manage operational and safety risks. Ensures proper controls are in place with respect to safety, WMS , e-PTW and Late Shutdown Requests (LSR) .
- Risk Based Work Screening ( RBWS) team member - support to assess the risk and right priority.
- Compliance to PPM plans.
- Following best practices and lessons learnt while performing maintenance activities.
- Keeping abreast of the latest developments on industry best practices from various resources and look for opportunities to implement them in the organisation
- Supporting maintenance emergencies of the asset.

- Ensure all activities are undertaken in compliance with Company Safety, Health and Environment and Quality policies, regulations and standards.

Firewall Compliance
- Ensure all activities undertaken comply with anti - trust and competition laws and the Company firewall policies and procedures.
Key Job Accountabilities
- Provide overall supervision of all electrical maintenance jobs in the assigned area within Company facilities.
- Maintain compliance with Company Environmental Health, Safety and Security procedures, permit to work procedure, safe work practices, LSR's as well as Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
- Conduct toolbox talk for maintenance crew and ensures safety measures are in place as stipulated in J ob Safety Analysis ( JSA) prior to starting the job and ensures that the safety hazards, unsafe condition and near misses are reported as per reporting procedure.
- Participate in the troubleshooting and repair of critical equipment during breakdowns, compiles the field data for further analysis and investigates common failures and make recommendations for corrective action.
- Support periodic quality audits, fill quality checklists, record the observation. Provide necessary field guidance to subordinates and technicians in solving complex problems.
Key Job Accountabilities
- Review work notifications, execution methodology, work orders to ensure full PPM compliance and record accurate maintenance history in closeout reports by systematic update of SAP/CMMS systems.
- Ensure to achieve discipline specific KPIs thereby supporting to achieve the overall KPIs of the asset.
- Coordinate with other stakeholders to have a seamless execution of all maintenance activities.
- Ensure all tools and test equipment is available for fieldwork team to execute the daily activities as per maintenance needs and priorities work as required.
Qualifications
- Higher National Diploma (HND) in area of specialization.
Knowledge and/or Experience
- 7 years' experience in the Oil & Gas industry or petrochemical industry.
- Good Knowledge in Maintenance tools e.g., SAP.
Technical and Business Skills
- Computer literacy.
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
