A call out to motivated and experienced Electrical Technicians with industrial construction experience, preferably in the oil & gas industry looking to join a thriving team.
Wood is recruiting Electricians to join our Projects team at the Ampol Refinery in Brisbane, on a casual role for up to a year and possibly into the new year 2026.
Applicants must have full work rights in Australia to be considered for the role.
The Role
Location: Lytton Refinery, site based
This role(s) is to meet upcoming projects and additional work for the projects team.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver high quality and consistent electrical and instrument installations in accordance with site and job requirements, standards and procedures
- Ensure scope of works completed in a safe manner ensuring no detrimental impact to personnel, fabric or environment
- Effective fault finding and problem-solving skills
- Great communication skills
- Able to work with a team and autonomously with variable deadlines
- Excellent time management skills.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working within a brownfield environment, preferably in the oil & gas industry, however, other project experience will be considered
- Valid Electrical Licence
- Certificate III in Electrotechnology System
- Hazardous Areas (either EEHA or full Cert IV)
- High Risk Work Licence - EWP (11m or more) and Forklift highly desirable
- Working Safely at Heights - current within last 3 years
- Current CPR & Low Voltage Rescue
- Valid construction card.
