We are seeking an experienced Lead Technician to supervise a team of technicians specializing in maintenance and component rebuild of CAT 745 articulated dump trucks and CAT 390/395 excavators. The role is based in a mine workshop with a rotation schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of 3 technicians.

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor maintenance and component replacement activities.

• Diagnose complex equipment issues and provide technical solutions.

• Ensure safety and quality standards are maintained.

• Report progress and technical issues to management.

Requirements

• Technical degree or equivalent in mechanics / heavy equipment maintenance.

• Minimum 8 years of experience with CAT equipment, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role.

• Strong expertise in component rebuild and component replacement.

• Experience in a mining workshop environment.

• Leadership, organization, and safety awareness.

• Fluent in French; technical English is an advantage.
