JOB DESCRIPTION

Wood is accepting expressions of interest in regards to a 1 week in 4 Metering Technician core position. This position mobilises from Aberdeen.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Offshore Metering Technicians shall carry out following duties:

Routine Metering Operations:
  • Conduct planned preventative and remedial maintenance as described in maintenance management system work instructions and the clients metering & allocation manual
  • Plan and prepare all paperwork including risk assessments and permits to complete the maintenance tasks recording the results in Maximo and KIMS (DANA Software)
  • Monitor the operating hours of equipment and identify when equipment requires to be calibrated/replaced in line with the Measurement and Allocation Manual
  • Liaise with onshore/vendors to call off replacement meters, and track the movements of metering equipment in Maximo and the metering tracker
  • Ensure critical spares are available and any discrepancies are addressed
  • Conduct all Instrument and process isolations in a safe competent manner, complying with Safety Management System and legislative requirements
  • Complete weekly monitoring checks on metering/lab equipment. reporting any deviation of set parameters and raise work orders in client's maintenance management system
  • Diagnose IT or data network fault within the metering system
  • Carry out fault finding and diagnostic checks on all metering or date network equipment, ensuring any repairs are addressed promptly and any changes are recorded
  • Conduct all necessary inspections on metering equipment
  • Provide technical instruction and guidance to ad hoc personnel and new team members Assist with upgrades to the metering system as directed by COMPANY


Technical integrity:
  • Conduct maintenance activities as directed by the relevant Supervisor complying with all working and reporting procedures and relevant standards.
  • To maintain equipment in a safe and efficient manner, in compliance with all statutory requirements.
  • Maintain complete and accurate records within the Maintenance Management System and KIMS
  • Adhere to all legislative, environmental and company standards and procedures.
