If you are an CAD/ECAD Systems professional passionate about enabling world-class design processes, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! You will manage and maintain our ECAD (Electronic Computer-Aided Design) component library, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for design and supply chain teams. This role is critical to supporting efficient product development and manufacturing.

In this role, your responsibilities will be

• Build and maintain ECAD components, including symbols, footprints, and 3D models, within our ECAD software environment.

• Ensure component data integrity and compliance with internal standards and industry best practices.

• Collaborate closely with ECAD Systems Administrators, Supply Chain, and Design Teams to align library content with project needs.

• Validate and release components for use in design workflows and procurement processes.

• Document library processes and provide guidance to design teams on component usage.

• Author and maintain system and user documentation

• Conduct and/or Assist with user training

For this role, you will need:

- Technical Diploma or Bachelor's degree in progress

- Two (2) to Five (5) years of relative experience or equivalent experience

- Proficiency with CAD/or ECAD tools

- Advanced English skills

Preferred qualifications that set you a part:
  • Experience with PCB footprint creation and symbol management.
  • Proficiency with Cadence ECAD tools.
  • Understanding of component lifecycle management and supply chain considerations.
