Wood is recruiting for Maintenance Materials, Spare Parts and Services Analyst to join our team in Docklands, Victoria, on a permanent basis.

The Maintenance Materials, Spare Parts and Services Analyst is responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of Materials Master Data within the maintenance system. This role plays a critical part in enabling reliable maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution by maintaining high-quality material records.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The key objectives for this role are:
  • Review and maintain the accuracy and compliance of Materials Master Data
  • Develop and expand equipment Bills of Material (BOM) to support maintenance activities
  • Ensure new materials are properly catalogued and classified according to recognised standards
  • Implement and monitor material data updates to maintain consistency and reliability.
  • Collaborate with maintenance planners and procurement teams to ensure material availability and correct specifications
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to material data governance and spare parts management

Requirements:
  • More than 5 years in materials, spare parts, and services management within a CMMS environment
  • 10 years in a mechanical, instrumentation, or electrical trade background (or similar) is highly regarded
  • Proficient in SAP PM master data management, including functional locations, equipment, BOMs, task lists, and maintenance plans
  • Understanding of change request workflows and compliance with governance standards
  • Awareness of reliability engineering concepts and equipment/maintenance strategies
  • Advanced competency with Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity principles
  • Excellent communication skills for effective engagement with multi-disciplinary internal and external teams
