The Electronic Technician Intern is responsible for gaining exposure to career opportunities within the oil and gas technology industry. This person discovers SLB's role in the industry and the lifestyle associated with the job.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform activities as assigned by the Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Supervisor or Technician.
• Work under direct supervision of Technicians or Maintenance Supervisors.
• Perform low-level, non invasive maintenance tasks.
• Ensure that assigned equipment is maintained according to the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for the Division, the relevant maintenance programs and standard work.
• Adhere to transactional discipline within TLM business systems to record materials and supplies, labor costs and equipment maintenance performance history such as movements, work orders, parts used and time to maintain.
• Comply with Division TLM standards.
• Participate in the continuous improvement culture, initiatives and remedial work plans within the MB to improve asset utilization and cost of service delivery (CoSD).
• Support continuous improvement efforts to improve the efficiency and productivity of Maintenance Technicians.

The Intern may be assigned other duties, in addition to, or in lieu of those described above, according to the needs of the location or Company.

• Diploma or Associate's Degree in Electronics Engineering discipline
• Electrical aptitude required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Basic Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Good problem-solving abilities, proactive, fast learner, good organizational and time management skills, positive attitude
