This Position reports to:

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute the processes in maintaining and preserving the efficiency of all equipment, facilities, resulting in the optimization of resources. Each day, you will oversee execution of overall civil and infra maintenance . You will also showcase your expertise by managing and updating technical documentation of equipment and facilities.

This role is contributing to the Motion business for High Power division based in Vadodara, India:

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Oversees and executes the planning and implementation of overall general civil (repairs, maintenance, renovation/refurbishment, as well as taking up New Projects and initiatives), Utilities, Infrastructure Facilities repairs and maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, painting, fabrication (all MEP repairs & maintenance work), testing and inspection schedules to ensure the team operates in a safe and efficient manner, prolongs equipment lifespan, mitigates the risk of failures, and fulfills statutory obligations.
• Supervises and manages building hard services and its operations. Ensure water pump house equipment and systems undergo proper maintenance, inspection, and testing and oversees accurate record-keeping of these activities.
• Drive water conservation, utilities and energy sustainability initiatives by promoting awareness, training staff, and ensuring adherence to sustainable water‑usage practices. Implement and maintain rainwater harvesting, treated wastewater (STP) reuse , and other water‑saving systems to optimize resource utilization.
• Ensures that all activities are conducted with the necessary safety control measures to mitigate and eliminate hazards and risks, in collaboration with the Health and Safety Manager.
• Ensures and executes activities like Pre-monsoon facility checks, timely water testing reports, timely up-keep of all water storage facilities as per company guidelines as well as statutory norms.
• Regular collaboration with all the Stakeholders, Vendor Partners and maintain & report all relevant records and data accurately and timely for various Audits purpose. Preparing monthly MISs of all the responsibilities.

Qualifications for the role

• 5 to 7 years of experience.
• Full time B.E/B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Ensures integrity and compliance with ABB values and ethics in all activities across all teams in scope.
• Ensures compliance to ABB's asset management and services policy.
• Manages relationships with stakeholders in their own area of responsibility and ensures alignment.
