Technicians / ServiceJOB PURPOSE:
Supervises the Assembly, Maintenance & Overhaul activities in the Pressure Pumping Division. Supervises the testing, maintenance, and repair of various electronic assemblies Directs and coordinates processes, personnel and supplies to optimize performance and quality. Manages the application of electronic theory, electrical testing procedures and related knowledge to repair and overhaul equipment as required.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Job Specific Accountabilities
Monitor activities, workforce availability, quality and all other aspects of the section.
Oversees the testing, maintenance, and repair of various electronic assemblies.
Review work orders, product specifications, technical instructions and facility requirements to requisitions tools, equipment, supplies and parts.
Maintains documentation on failure analysis and required repairs.
Supervises the troubleshooting, testing and assembly of electrical and electromechanical equipment.
Manages the reworking, repairing and modifying of nonconforming equipment.
Ensures consistency of units according to engineering instructions, technical manuals and knowledge of electronic systems and components and their functions.
Recommend changes in circuitry or installation specifications to improve the repair process and product performance.
Provide technical expertise to assist with solving repairs and overhaul of equipment.
Provides technical support to other groups and co-workers.
Provides continual coaching and training to subordinates on processes and procedures.
Supervises the configuration, preparation, maintenance, utilization and design of test stations and test equipment.
Sets up repair and overhaul stations to efficiently process defective equipment.
Ensures that all testing is performed with proper instructions and documentation.
Apply statistical methods to estimate future repair requirements for staffing and equipment needs.
Manage and schedule overtime as necessary to meet the section's objectives and standards.
Comply with all UAE, ADNOC, ADNOC Drilling and client Asset Integrity Management codes of practice.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualification
B. Sc in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
10 years of broad experience in drilling, oil/gas or petrochemical industry, out of which 3 years of Lead Engineer level experience.
Must have exposure to maintenance management strategies and techniques.
At least 5 years' experience of working with CMMS.
Excellent Computer skills, in MS Office package plus ERP software such as SAP.
Proficiency in spoken & written English Language.
