Weatherford International, a leading global energy services company, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Repair & Maintenance (R&M) Supervisor to join our growing operations in Guyana. Position Overview:

The R&M Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing maintenance operations, managing technical personnel, and ensuring optimal performance of equipment and facilities. This role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to implement effective maintenance strategies that support operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise maintenance teams in the repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of oilfield equipment and facilities
  • Develop and implement strategic maintenance plans to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability
  • Coordinate resource allocation and personnel scheduling to meet operational demands
  • Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement corrective actions
  • Manage inventory of spare parts and consumables, ensuring optimal stock levels
  • Monitor maintenance operations and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards
  • Train and develop maintenance personnel to enhance technical capabilities
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including maintenance records, reports, and performance metrics
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational objectives
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction

Required Qualifications:
  • 4-5+ years of related experience in maintenance supervision, preferably in the oil and gas industry
  • High School diploma or Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Experience with root cause analysis methodologies
  • Proficiency in inventory management and resource planning
  • Demonstrated ability in operations monitoring and personnel management
  • Excellent critical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong reading and writing skills with the ability to interpret technical documentation
  • Effective time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Proficient in operating tools and machinery relevant to maintenance operations
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Electromechanical Engineering
  • Experience working in Guyana or similar emerging markets
  • Knowledge of oilfield equipment and maintenance practices specific to Weatherford products
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
  • Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards in the oil and gas industry
