Job Description:

Position Overview

The Blending Senior Operations Technician is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high‑quality blending operations-covering both batch and in‑line blending-while aligning with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards. The role supports production schedules, inventory accuracy, and safe workplace practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee daily batch and in-line blending operations.
• Manage receipts and transfers of raw materials and finished products.
• Update and reconcile inventory records for raw materials and finished products.
• Receive bulk additive deliveries and charge them into designated tankage.
• Ensure compliance with HSSE requirements and maintain good housekeeping.
• Serve as Issuing Authority for the Permit-to-Work system.
• Support terminalling operations and participate in crisis/continuity response teams as assigned.

Key Challenges

• Blending efficiency is sometimes dependent on external parties for adjustments outside the jobholder's control.

Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum GCE "O" Level with at least 2 years' experience in manufacturing (preferably chemical, petrochemical, or oil & gas).
• Strong understanding of blending processes and safety practices.

HSSE Requirements

• Align with BP HSSE policies.
• Complete mandatory training, including the Oil/Petrochemical Safety Orientation Course.
