We are currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor, reporting directly to the Maintenance / PSM Manager, to join our Maintenance team based in Kansas City, United States within our Advanced Materials & Catalysts (AM&C) business line.
About the Job
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading site maintenance personnel while serving as the primary planner and scheduler for all maintenance activities within the facility. This role ensures the safe, reliable, and efficient execution of maintenance work through effective planning, prioritization, coordination with operations, and parts procurement.
As part of the site leadership team, you will promote a strong safety culture aligned with regulatory and process safety (PSM) requirements while driving continuous improvement in plant reliability and performance. The position includes direct supervision of maintenance technicians and mechanics, ownership of the maintenance backlog and scheduling process, and responsibility for improving preventive and predictive maintenance effectiveness across the plant.
You will collaborate closely with Operations, Engineering, Procurement, and external vendors to ensure equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and support production needs. The role requires a strong presence on the production floor and the ability to lead maintenance execution in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Travel: Primarily site-based with minimal travel requirements.

About You

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; technical training or associate degree preferred
- 710 years of experience in maintenance within an industrial or chemical manufacturing environment
- Prior experience supervising or leading maintenance personnel preferred
- Training or certifications related to hazardous waste handling, DOT requirements, or industrial safety are a plus
- Strong computer proficiency including CMMS systems (e.g., EPAC) and SAP
Languages
- English Fluent (written and spoken)
