Job Summary
Under direct supervision, responsible for ensuring the safety and quality of water produced by mobile or stationary purification systems, often in military, disaster relief, or remote industrial environments, completes the assigned daily work including Performing installation, operation of water purification equipment, water storage and distribution operations May explain instructions and documentation to plan work activities. Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Water Quality Analysis: Perform hourly and daily testing of raw, potable, and non-potable water for parameters such as pH, turbidity, Free Available Chlorine (FAC), Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), and temperature.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure all produced water meets strict regulatory and military standards, such as TB MED 576, 577 , and ISO 17025 .

- Chemical Management: Prepare, dose, and monitor chemicals used for disinfection (e.g., chlorine) and scale prevention (anticalins) while following strict safety protocols.
- Reporting: Maintain detailed logs, archive run sheets, and submit daily, weekly, or monthly reports to management or regulatory bodies.
- Conducts prototype or environmental laboratory tests by using laboratory quality procedures.
- Operates laboratory or other equipment such as pumps and rig equipment.
- Repairs, calibrates, and provides general maintenance on tools and equipment.
- Performs analytical computations and completes documentation of results.
- Under direct supervision, performs routine and other assigned tasks from instructions, established guidelines and procedures. Possesses an expansive awareness of a multitude of instruments and apparatuses utilized to sample, examine, assess, and observe the QHSE effect within the business.
- Is constantly aware of changes in government policies associated with scope of work.
- May perform non-routine labor duties.
- Adds specified amounts of chemicals into water or adjusts automatic devices that admit specified amounts of chemicals into tanks to disinfect, deodorize, and clarify water.
- Assist others in moderately complex actions in agreement with established protocol to comply with the business's QHSE standards and government policies.
Basic Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required
- 3+ years' experience in water treatment or a similar laboratory environment.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in Reverse Osmosis processes, water treatment chemistry, and microbiological analysis.
- Proficiency in analytical computations, technical record-keeping, and the ability to operate auxiliary equipment like pumps and rigs
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
- The laboratory Technician shall complete yearly training in order to keep the personnel updated with the latest local and Federal environmental regulations, public health concerns, laboratory procedures, and safety requirements.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Must possess a passport book (not a passport card) with at least 12 months of remaining validity and 4 blank visa/stamp pages.
- You must hold a valid driver's license with at least 6 months of remaining validity.
