HVAC Commissioning Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Commissioning Engineer to join our team for a challenging project in the oil & gas or energy sector. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper installation, testing, and handover of HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute commissioning activities in accordance with project procedures and safety standards
• Perform system walkdowns, inspections, and functional testing of HVAC equipment and systems
• Ensure HVAC systems are commissioned and handed over in line with project milestones and client expectations
• Collaborate with construction, engineering, and operations teams to resolve commissioning-related issues
• Prepare and maintain commissioning documentation, including test records, punch lists, and handover packages
• Participate in planning and progress meetings, providing input on commissioning status and challenges

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commissioning within oil & gas, energy, or industrial projects
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems
• Familiarity with commissioning procedures
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, mechanical drawings, and technical specifications
• Experience working in a site-based environment or on large-scale industrial sites
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
• Certificate of apprenticeship, bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field
• Fluency in Norwegian and English
• Proficiency in Procosys and Fusion software
