JOB PURPOSE

Develop, support and implement cost-effective programmes for improving effectiveness and efficiency of maintenance processes, standards & procedures across all operating assets including Pipeline & contribute to Centre of Excellence for maintenance.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Policy & Standards, Processes & Practices

  • Review the processes and practices related to the development, improvement, maintenance and communication Company's maintenance policy, framework and standards, with the support of relevant entities such as Technical Engineering, Operating Plants and Projects as required.


  • Develop, manage and support cost-effective programmes to ensure that maintenance activities are standardised and continually improved, throughout the asset lifecycle, and to contribute their safe and reliable operation, all in close liaison with the site implementation teams and senior management.


  • Develop and support a company-wide process to consolidate and continually evaluate maintenance costs against benchmarks in order to actively reduce spend while achieving company objectives.


  • Ensure that the Maintenance Excellence Department and sites implementation teams are taking advantage of every opportunity to embed Maintenance process Compliance in line with Maintenance Standard (Policy) or past audit reports.


  • Review and propose structured changes in maintenance business process and methodology to continuously support implementation of Maintenance Excellence initiatives.


  • Provide expert support to operating, technical and project staff in order to ensure that the new ways of working are understood, supported and become the normal way of working.


  • Participate in development of a future Maintenance Management System and support its implementation in order to ensure they adequately and efficiently support business processes.


  • Manage maintenance business process reviews and review technical reports detailing maintenance performances, best practices and recommended changes and improvements.


Spare Parts

  • Review and propose an optimised spare parts selection methodology to avoid the purchase of unnecessary spares during projects and to avoid unnecessarily replenishing spares, in close cooperation with Procurement, Engineering & Technical Services and Sites.


Performance Monitoring

  • Review and propose improvements for the development and support of a coherent, accurate reporting system for maintenance performance and for standard compliance to provide basis for management decisions at all levels of Company. Assist with monitoring, reporting and recommending areas for improvement against these reports.


  • Support the implementation of systems for periodic process reviews/audits in order to reinforce the sustained implementation of new ways of working.


Community and Networks

  • Actively participate in networks of maintenance process owners and practitioners to maximise the benefit to Company.


  • Encourage a proactive attitude towards Maintenance Excellence, challenging entrenched practices in order to align with relevant World Class practices.


  • Review and propose improvements for the definition of the competence requirements and direct the development of the maintenance skill pool across Company sites to ensure current and future capability is in place to meet the business needs.


QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent Professional Qualification.


Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills

  • 8 years of experience in a large industrial organization in maintenance, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.


  • Advanced knowledge/practice of Maintenance processes & Systems analysis & change management systems/methodologies in Oil & Gas.


  • Advanced knowledge/skill on Gas plants maintenance process & systems.


  • Solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process.


  • Familiar with Budget and schedule risk analysis studies.


  • Familiar with Maintenance Management systems (preferred with MAXIMO/SAP).


  • Full knowledge of HSE in a plant environment.
