Technicians / ServiceJOB PURPOSE:
Performs maintenance, repair, and servicing of TRS equipment and tools. Works closely with the Supervisor to ensure all workshop activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. Supports the operational readiness of TRS equipment to meet project requirements and client expectations.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Job Specific Accountabilities
• Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repair of TRS equipment and tools in the workshop.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, implementing effective repair solutions.
• Ensure all maintenance and repair activities comply with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
• Adhere to ADNOC Drilling's safety policies and procedures within the workshop.
• Participate in safety meetings, drills, and risk assessments to maintain a safe working environment.
• Report any safety incidents or hazards immediately and assist in the investigation process.
• Ensure all maintenance and repair work meets the highest quality standards and adheres to project specifications.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks on repaired and maintained equipment to verify compliance.
• Address any quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions as directed by the Supervisor.
• Maintain detailed records of equipment maintenance, repair activities, and performance metrics.
• Ensure all TRS equipment is kept in good working condition and is ready for deployment.
• Coordinate with the Supervisor to ensure timely servicing and availability of necessary parts and tools.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of workshop activities, including maintenance logs and repair reports.
• Prepare and submit reports on equipment status, maintenance activities, and any incidents to the Supervisor.
• Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and properly archived.
• Provide support to other technicians and team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Assist in training programs to enhance the skills and competencies of team members.
• Support the Supervisor in achieving workshop operational goals and continuous improvement initiatives. Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies within the workshop.
• Support the implementation of best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance personal skills and knowledge.
• Comply with all UAE, ADNOC, ADNOC Drilling and client Asset Integrity Management codes of practice.

• Implement and comply with all relevant functional policies, processes, systems, standards, procedures, to accomplish operational objectives.
Training
• Provide on-the-job Training to meet Competency Based Training programs for UAE Nationalization.
Tool Box
• Maintain all tools, safety gear and equipment provided by company safely and in working condition.
• Arrange for repair or replacement of any tools and safety gear that may not be in good working condition.
Time Management
• Carry out all maintenance jobs in line with assigned time standards.
• Inform the Maintenance Supervisor in case additional resources are required to carry out the job within the assigned time frame.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement
• Contribute to the identification of areas and opportunities for continuous improvement in the operating procedures, modification of functional processes, machinery or equipment.
Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability
• Support the institution of an HSE culture and ensure compliance with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines across the Division in line with international standards, best practices and Corporate Code of Practices and to ensure integrity and safety of assets.
Housekeeping
• Maintain the work environment clean and tidy before, during and after executing the job, in line with established standards of Hygiene and Housekeeping.
Reports
• Collect technical data from the field as required and provide inputs to prepare Section progress reports for Company Management.
• Provide input for the preparation of Method statements and initiate Near Miss reports.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualification
• High school diploma or equivalent. A technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in equipment maintenance and repair, preferably in oilfield services.
• Proven ability to perform maintenance and repair tasks in a workshop environment.
• Demonstrated experience in maintaining and troubleshooting TRS equipment.
