JOB REQUIREMENTS
FACILITY/GROUP SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare, verify, and receive equipment prior to scheduled dismantling
- Perform controlled mechanical and electrical disassembly per approved procedures
- Safely handle, tag, label, and store components to preserve condition and traceability
- Stage components in correct order, orientation, and grouping by equipment, serial number, and job reference
- Assist Reliability Engineers with visual and dimensional inspections as requested
- Drain, clean, protect, and preserve components to prevent damage or contamination
- Record dismantling details, condition notes, photos, and maintain tracking logs
- Coordinate with engineering, quality, and shop personnel on schedules and readiness
- Communicate abnormal conditions observed during dismantling
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety, PPE, and material-handling requirement
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience with equipment teardown, repair, or shop operations
- Familiarity with industrial or mechanical equipment
- Forklift or lifting equipment experience
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Maintain strong safety culture.
- Ability to follow work instructions and defined dismantling sequences
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and traceability
- Basic computer skills for documentation and tracking
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to work in a shop or industrial environment
- Capable of standing, lifting, and handling heavy or oil-contaminated equipment
- Ability to wear PPE and follow safety protocols at all times
- Must be open to cross-training opportunities.
- Ability to work in non-climate-controlled manufacturing shop
- Stand up to 12 hours daily
- Walk up to 12 hours daily
- Bending/stooping up to 12 hours daily
- Repetitive movement up to 12 hours daily
- Lifting weight up to 50lbs regularly
