This Position reports to:
Manufacturing Unit Process and P

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the daily management of maintenance operations, supervising technical staff, and coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance activities for equipment and facilities.

This role is contributing to the ELIP division of ABB and is located in Pointe-Claire.

Key Responsibilities

Personnel Management

• Manage employee files
• Administer schedules and attendance
• Maintain close collaboration with Production and Operations Management for day-to-day maintenance activities

Parts and Inventory Management

• Ensure both physical and system-based management of spare parts in the internal system
• Maintain optimal inventory levels
• Coordinate material orders and receipts

Documentation and Compliance

• Keep the Single-Line Diagram up to date in the internal system
• Mandate an external firm annually to update drawings and labels related to electrical safety
• Manage and maintain visual inspection records
• Administer lockout/tagout documentation and ensure compliance

Contractor Management

• Coordinate subcontractors for equipment and building maintenance
• Initiate service calls
• Conduct risk assessments when subcontractors are working on site

Technical Support and Projects

• Provide support for all matters related to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)
• Create technical drawings and schematics as needed
• Guide mechanics and technicians in project execution
• Act as project manager for special projects as required

Required Skills

• Experience supervising a maintenance team
• Proficiency in management systems (Workday, UKG) is considered an asset
• Knowledge of electrical and industrial safety standards
• Ability to read and create technical drawings
• Strong project management and coordination skills
