Key Responsibilities:
- As an HVAC Project Engineer, manage ventilation projects from initial survey to installation sign-off.
- Coordinate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Keep accurate project documentation and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Reporting to the Projects Manager, you'll liaise with customers and stakeholders to oversee projects from start to finish. In your role as an HVAC Project Engineer, you'll ensure services exceed expectations while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail are essential.
Main Duties:
- Engage with site contacts including clients, architects, and mechanical/electrical trades.
- Conduct precise final site measurements.
- Plan and coordinate project schedules to meet deadlines.
- Maintain project files according to company quality procedures.
- Attend pre-start and progress meetings.
- Carry out commissioning and customer handovers.
- Undertake additional duties relevant to the role of an HVAC Project Engineer.
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of ventilation systems, construction, shop fitting, and catering equipment industries.
- Understanding of mechanical and electrical services.
- Excellent organisational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication skills - both written and verbal - to liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Numeracy skills to manage budgets, measurements, and schedules accurately.
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and project management tools.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills to resolve project challenges efficiently.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to travel, including overnight stays or unsocial hours.
- Full UK driving license.
- Current CSCS or Skillcard.
- Salary £32,000 - £42,000 per year.
- Company car, mobile, and laptop.
