Wood has a collaborative maintenance contract with Ampol to deliver leading maintenance and project services to their Lytton Refinery.
We are recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Planner with rotating & fixed asset experience to join our team.
This role will support the Lead Planner with the ongoing development and implementation of various planning and quality processes, whilst assuming responsibility for scoping, estimating & planning all work in a designated process across site.
This is a great opportunity to progress and thrive by working collectively and making an active contribution to the team.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review CMMS daily for approved notifications, creating work orders.
- Conduct site inspections to provide a detailed scope of work.
- Populate the work order & workpack with the tasks, discipline hours, materials, specialist vendor requirements, PMRs and other services required to execute the work.
- Maintain integrity of the CMMS
- Reserve all stock materials, identify part numbers and all information required for the purchase of non-stock items.
- Attend/Chair the Weekly Planning & Scheduling meetings.
- Take feedback on the work at the completion of the job and continually improve information for future work - Create job specific tasklists, update critical BOM's.
- Participate in the development & control of the R&M Area Budgets.
- Demonstrate a pro-active role in identifying safety improvements.
- Provide pro-active, constructive and innovate input which will enhance present practices.
QUALIFICATIONS
Essential
- Degree or diploma in Engineering or Mechanical trade qualification
- CMMS knowledge and demonstrated experience (SAP)
- Demonstrated experience within a similar industry or related industry workplace
- Highly effective verbal and written communication skills.
Highly desirable
- Highly skilled in MS Suite Skills
- Actively commits to being a OH&S Leader

- Demonstrates discipline expertise, integrity, and the ability to influence and challenge others to behave in ways consistent with the interest of the organisation.
