JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary:



Reports directly to the Maintenance Manager or Next Level Management. Responsible for maintaining all inspection equipment of the day-to-day operation of the Hueytown, Alabama operation.



Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on production and NDT inspection equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment accuracy and compliance.
• Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies to support maintenance activities.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical prints.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and all other safety protocols while on the job.
• Maintain documentation of maintenance activities, equipment issues, and repair solutions.

Job Duties:

• Use diagnostic tools such as digital multimeters, megohmmeters, and oscilloscopes to preform electrical tests and repairs.
• Apply knowledge of basic electronics, mechanics, and PLC automation to support maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with technicians, operators, and supervisors to resolve equipment issues promptly.
• Prioritize and manage tasks effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Maintain documentation of maintenance activities, equipment issues, and repair solutions.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Technical training or associates degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in and industrial, manufacturing, or military environment preferred.
• Familiarity with PLC automation and ladder logic is preferred.
• Proficient in troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and understand schematics, mechanical prints, and wiring diagrams.
• Skilled in the safe and effective use of electronic test equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Must follow all established safety procedures and guidelines.
