The maintenance planner is responsible for processing quality work orders, producing work packs, following the Work Management standard and ensuring all plans follow safety and reliability protocols. Responsible for planning central service-related maintenance work order tasks by clearly identifying the work needed by craft and contractors, access, equipment, and materials to complete the job safely and efficiently. Safely improve work force productivity and work quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through the planning of labor, specialty tools, parts, and materials. What you will deliver :
• Responsible for health, safety, and environmental performance to achieve the goal of no accidents, no harm to people and no harm to the environment
• Supports the implementation of safety improvement recommendations
• Achieves and adheres to HSE+C goals and policies
• Generate requisitions for specialty tools, rentals, materials, or contractor services required to support execution of work in the field
• Create PMs and/or deactivate as required for all coverage areas
• Efficiently maintain a backlog in support of all compliance and safety goals for bp teams. Clean up and prioritize date-driven work
• Optimize and manage the backlog of Maintenance Orders per the regional maintenance team within a computerized maintenance management system (ex. SAP)
• Planner will check SAP for "SAFE"/ "SFTY" MO's DAILY for work items
• Weekly: Planner will check SAP and push as able PPM work items that require planning; compliance items will have the highest priority
• Assign/Edit task lists to maintenance MOs as needed
• Responsible for following Work Management processes and standards within planning activities and monitoring the agreed upon KPIs, taking appropriate actions to close deviations from target
• Maintaining healthy relationships and effective collaboration with other Planners and Maintenance team members to improve performance
• Daily backlog management within area of responsibility.
• Modifying job plans based on feedback received
• Supporting central maintenance work to ensure rental equipment reliability and availability
• Creating MOs, planning out Work, entering or updating operations on plan to accommodate service to support Central Maintenance team
• Inputting service and material requisitions as needed to support Central Maintenance team(s) while being conscious of material lead times and how they affect Basic Dates. Search for spare parts (Bill of Materials) and search catalog for material/service
• Release finalized plan / carryout workflow in purchase requirement approvals
• Cancel/Reject/Complete MOs through verification of work completion or as directed
• Identify gaps and promote improvements in the maintenance process & Suggest Improvement.
• Training - participate in department training sessions, providing insights for all to share/learn
• Assisting in scope development for TAR, Major Repairs, complex corrective work and campaigns
• Assisting maintenance techs with troubleshooting equipment
• Utilizing predictive technologies and condition monitoring to recommend equipment maintenance schedule.
• Responsible for driving activity readiness by supporting the safe, effective and efficient preparation of work packs.
• Assisting in scope development for TAR, Major Repairs, complex corrective work and campaigns
• Participates in the continuous improvement of Preventative Maintenance Program and ensuring appropriate elements are transitioned into the CMMS.
• Actively participating in RCFAs - as requested. Is 'as requested' needed? no
• Actively support integration & maintenance squad lead in managing the business of maintenance.
• Act as the crucial link between the integration & maintenance and facilities support squad.
• Follow and support Global Work Management processes and standards.
• Ability to manage backlog in an efficient manner, work with Schedulers in close coordination. Understanding of safety critical deferral process.
• Understanding principles of material management with in SAP.
• Be able to tackle Contract accountable Manager role for different vendors.
• Ability to own systems and areas in the plant and deliver works around that.
• Sound knowledge of offshore facilities and thorough understanding of typical equipment used, Sound knowledge of Marine equipment such as gangways, mooring systems, Loading arms etc.
• Sound knowledge of Rotating equipment machines such as Gas turbines, Compressors, Turbo expanders, Motors and Pumps.
• Proficient using SAP PM and Microsoft Office, ADO etc.
• Strong interpersonal and influence skills
• Self-starter and able to think innovatively to solve our highest value problems
