Job Overview:

Weatherford have a great opportunity for an experienced Technical Support to join the TRS (Tubular Running services) Team in Ortona, Italy. The TRS (Tubular Running Services) Technical Support is a hybrid role combining administrative support with operational coordination. The position supports the execution of TRS services by managing planning activities, coordinating people and equipment, ensuring service quality, and overseeing asset control and documentation.

The role acts as a central interface between office staff, field operations, and clients, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of TRS services.

Responsibilities:

Safety, Security & Compliance

• Ensure all activities are executed in alignment with company HSE standards and the Weatherford Management System.
• Promote safe behaviors and contribute actively to risk-prevention initiatives.
• Support continuous improvement in Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental performance.

Quality

• Maintain compliance with company Quality requirements and client specifications.
• Monitor service quality through KPI tracking, operational feedback, and post-job reviews.
• Support internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

Operations Coordination

• Review job plans, risk assessments, and technical procedures to ensure compliance with Weatherford standards and client requirements.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to TRS equipment and operations.
• Support day-to-day planning of TRS operations.
• Work closely with Operations, Warehouse, and Field Supervisors to ensure proper job preparation.
• Assist in reviewing job plans, checklists, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate operational interfaces with clients and internal teams.
• Provide basic technical support and facilitate communication between field and office.

Administrative & Office Support

• Welcome clients and visitors; manage incoming calls professionally.
• Handle document management activities (scanning, archiving, mail distribution).
• Prepare internal reports, communications, and service documentation.
• Provide general support to office operations when required.

Planning & Scheduling

• Prepare daily and weekly operational schedules according to priorities.
• Plan workforce allocation and equipment availability for upcoming jobs.
• Keep planning tools updated (calendars, trackers, planning boards).
• Manage last-minute schedule changes to maintain operational continuity.
• Ensure proper tracking of TRS assets through company systems.

Required:

• 3-5 years of experience in administrative or operational support roles, preferably in Oil & Gas or technical services.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Good understanding of TRS operations or strong technical aptitude.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel preferred).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Italian.
• Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including offshore platforms.
• Ability to work in dynamic environments with multidisciplinary teams.
• May require working in shifts or extended hours during critical operations.
